If you are a sociable person like myself and my husband, you occasionally have overnight guests. There are steps you can take to make the stay extra enjoyable for your guest(s). Be sure to deep clean the bathroom that they will be using and remove any of your very personal items. Clean out clutter from the room and closet. Strip the room down to the essentials so that the room will be more relaxing and inviting. Make a place for the guests' luggage and clothing. This might require moving wrapping paper, coats, emptying a drawer, purchasing a luggage rack or place a footstool in the room to hold a suitcase. Write your guests a welcome note. Stock the bedside table with things like bottled water, coasters, reading material, dried fruit, a chocolate bar, wi-fi code, fresh flowers, pen and paper, etc. Provide a basket of goodies that may have been forgotten such as a toothbrush, dental floss, small shampoo and conditioner bottles, lip balm, hair ties, etc. Place a fluffy towel at the foot of the bed and provide an extra blanket and pillows. Everyone's tastes are different. Sit down and communicate with your guests about their schedule. Do they want to sightsee, relax, visit old friends, whatever? Make a plan. I hope these tips help you and your guests have a great visit where you get the chance to make some wonderful memories together. #dreamlandinteriors
