We all know that we do not put wool clothing in the dryer. Many people do not realize that overdrying of clothing not only wastes energy but damages the clothes. The most important step in laundry prep is to read the clothing label. The newer dryers have an "auto setting" or "less dry" setting that shuts off when the sensors determine that the clothes are dry.
Material that can be put in a dryer on a low setting are cotton, acrylic, linen, microfiber, nylon, polyester, silk, and velour. Often it is best with these materials to partially dry them and hang the items to complete the drying process since most of these fabrics are prone to shrinkage. Material that should NOT be put in the dryer are embellished items, spandex, lace, rayon, suede, and wool. We can't be too careful when installing a dryer vent. We already know to clean the dryer lint trap after each use and to clean the hose and outside vent when needed. But I came across an feature that I found very helpful and specific to make sure your installation is done according to code. Check out this article. Remember that Dreamland Interiors, Inc. can help you with your appliance needs. We attend seminars on the newest appliances learning about their features and specifications. We can even direct you to savings when tackling these big purchases. #dreamlandinteriors #washersanddryers #appliances #laundry #laundryroom Of the 51 dishwashers that Consumer Reports picked as their top recommendations, 34 were made by Bosch. We already know that they manufacture the quietest dishwasher. But, now they have simplified the kitchen clean up by designing the "My Way Rack" to allow us to load the dishwasher more easily. The newer models have three adjustable racks, hidden controls for a sleeker look, and other high tech features depending on the model you choose. Prices vary depending on the model you purchase from $850 - $2200. I might also recommend that you choose a model that has the pre-steam function that loosens food particles before the wash cycle is initiated. Also use fresh detergent which will dissolve much better. #bosch #dreamlandinteriors |
